Established in 1987, Triton Express has grown into a sophisticated operation with a comprehensive footprint throughout South Africa which also extends into our neighboring African countries. Additionally, Our skilled staff is committed to providing a superior delivery experience that exceeds our customers’ expectations. Not only does Triton Express has 13 strategically located branches in South Africa but also 6 branches in 4 cross-border countries. Namely, Botswana(Gaborone), Mozambique(Maputo, Vilanculos, Pemba), Namibia(Windhoek), and Eswatini (Matsapha). Triton Express is also part of a wider group of companies, and its current subsidiary companies include Triton Supply Chain Solutions, Triton Fleet Management, Triton Truck & Trailer Mbombela, Triton e-Shop, and Triton Academy.


Furthermore, Triton Express prides itself on being able to offer customers a superior distribution service across sub-Saharan Africa through a range of diverse services, which include: Express Road Freight, Economy Road Freight, Depot to Depot, Cross Border Road Freight, Full Truck Loads, and Closed Distribution services.





T1 – Same Day Express: Same day service to all major centers, dependent on airlines

T2 – Overnight Express: Overnight airfreight delivery by 10h00 the following day to all major centers

T3 – Overnight Road Freight: Bi-directional overnight delivery service between Johannesburg and Cape Town only

T4 – Express Road Freight: Overnight delivery to most centers in SA & a 48-hour service, dependent on the destination. Additional transit times apply to destinations in outlying areas




T5 – Economy Road Freight: 48 to 72 hours for delivery at main centers, additional transit times apply to destinations in outlying areas.




Dedicated load service offering between the main centers in South Africa and to the cross-border branches.



Cross Border Road Freight into our neighboring countries with a 24 to 72 hour turnaround time, dependent on origin and destination:

  • Lesotho
  • Mozambique

Consolidation Service:

  • Zimbabwe

Triton Express is committed to the effective development and implementation of the pillars of the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment scorecard as legislated by the DTI. Not only does Triton Express currently has a rating of a Level 3 Contributor but also striving continuously to improve on this rating through on-going projects within the business. We aim to ensure that our initiatives continue to meet the criteria and standards laid down within our B-BBEE strategy.
