Howell Attorneys is owned and run by Dilana Howell. She is a practising Attorney, Notary and Conveyancer with over 22 years of experience.
Being a sole practitioner, Dilana Howell provides cost-effective and excellent services to her clients. Thus developing personal relationships in her field of expertise with more freedom and flexibility.
Background:
“Success is no accident.” This is definitely true for Dilana Howell. While growing up in the Freestate, she quickly realized she wasn’t cut out for small-town life. Evidently, she got married at the age of 19 until finally, she realized it was time for a change. Indeed, this change is what motivated Dilana to study law.
She received her BProc degree through UNISA. With her drive and passion, she decided to open her own law practice. Howell Attorney was officially opened in her hometown, Koppies. She then moved to Durbanville, Cape Town, in 2003, where she proceeded with her practice. This time, however, focusing more on real estate.
In 2009, Dilana retired from law. However, it wasn’t long until the legal world called her name, once again. A friend faced some legal troubles and this called for Dilana’s help. Her enthusiasm in making a difference in peoples’ lives resurfaced. By experiencing all these lessons in life, Dilana believes in the following:

Conveyancing:
Because of being a Notary Public, she has been bestowed with common and statutory legal powers. Thus allowing her to administer oaths and to prepare and attest to certain specialised legal documents.
