Since 1931, the Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA) is the leader in the fight against cancer in SA. Offering a unique, integrated service to everyone affected with cancer.
Not only is its mission is to be the preferred non-profit leader that enables research with regards to lowering cancer risk, but also to educating the public regarding symptoms, screening, and risk reduction.
Furthermore, their Advocacy team performs a Watchdog Role striving to ensure that South African policymakers are influenced with regards to important cancer control issues, and patients’ right to healthcare is protected.
CANSA commits to provide information, day-to-day help, as well as emotional support people need in the communities where they live. Thus aiming to ensure that cancer survivors and their loved ones don’t have to face cancer alone.
We’re here to support them through every step of their cancer journey.
Not only does your support help us to continue the fight against cancer in South Africa, but it also brings us closer to the challenge of a cancer-free society within our generation. Let this become our legacy to our children and generations to come.
